​I Didn’t Need Another Diet

In May, I told myself: No more extreme diets, no more calorie-counting apps, and no more all-or-nothing plans.

​I wanted to feel better. Not just skinnier — just better.

I found the Mediterranean diet by accident.

And I stayed because it finally felt sustainable.

-I didn’t cut out carbs
-I didn’t give up flavor
-I still had wine on the weekend

-I ate bread — the good kind!



And guess what?


I started losing weight… and gaining energy.



I’m now down 23 pounds, my energy is up, my cravings are down, and for once, food isn’t the enemy.



Here’s what actually worked for me:



1) Eating mostly real, whole foods


2) Extra Virgin Olive oil


3) Walks, not punishment workouts


4) No “starting over Monday” mindset


5) ​Being imperfect… but consistent


This way of eating isn’t about restriction.


It’s about reconnection — with your body, your meals, and your life.


I wish I had known this sooner.


But I’m so glad I know it now.
